Why ask why?
Have you ever felt like the universe is keeping secrets? (It is). That Life is a total mystery? That there 'must be a reason for it all...' and a 'reason why we're here'?
Maybe the questions in your life are closer to home, about relationship, spirituality, the nature of reality, of consciousness, of civic duty and civil rights, civilization, science, physic's, physiology, or astronomy; they are for me.
Many star spattered nights I've stared into the void with both a sense of wonder and a feeling of crushing insignificance, wondering 'do I matter', in the macroscopic scheme of things. The best I can come up with is, universally speaking, probably not.
This blog is like that, one voice, like a drop in the ocean of the vast and crazy Internet universe, statistically insignificant but relevant. I don't have a flag to wave or a particular cross to bear. Maybe the things I say will resonate with a reader and maybe they won't. I don't claim to have the answers, but I believe the people of this human community need to start questioning the kind of life and world they want to have, or the kind of world they want their children and grandchildren to inherit.
The world has plenty of deceit and decievers to go around, and its there for those who do not critically examine themselves, others, their lives and relationships, their impact on society and the environment, because in fact, each of us is significant as either a source of destruction or healing.
